Condensed Matter Theory (CMT)
The Condensed Matter Theory group works on variety of contemporary areas like quantum spin liquids, Weyl fermions, strongly inhomogeneous Luttinger liquids, turbulence in classical and quantum fluids, fracture dynamics in amorphous systems, phase transition and critical phenomena, dynamical processes on networks, active matters, disordered spin systems,Bose Einstein condensation, Quantum Hall effect, cold atoms, 2D materials like Graphene and Mxene, topological insulators, computational modeling and simulation of technologically relevant complex materials such as magnetic oxides , half-metals for spintronics applications, fast ion conductors for battery and fuel-cell applications, shape memory alloys.
