DPS alumni Sridip Pal shines!
The Department of Physical Sciences, IISER Kolkata, proudly announces that our alumnus Dr. Sridip Pal has joined the prestigious Institut des Hautes Etudes Scientifiques, Paris as a faculty member. Sridip graduated from IISER Kolkata's flagship BS-MS program in 2014. A brilliant student, Sridip topped the nationwide NSEP examination conducted by IAPT twice in succession during this period. After graduation, he completed his PhD from UC, Berkely and went on to post doctoral positions in the Institute of Advanced Studies, Princeton and Caltech. His research centers around conformal bootstrap, a nonperturbative framework for studying the structure of conformal field theories. DPS wishes him great success in all his future endeavors.
