  • Ultrafast and THz spectroscopy of topological and magnetic condensed matter systems

I'm interested in developing ultrafast optical spectroscopy and terahertz spectroscopy to investigate the dynamics of photo-excited charge carriers in a variety of condensed matter systems. At the moment, I'm curious about the photoexcited carrier dynamics in some of the transition metal oxides, 2D materials, and topological insulators, which have applications in photovoltaics, optoelectronics, and THz photonics.
