I am interested in quantum transport in low-dimensional topological insulators and superconductors. My recent work focuses on topological zero modes of the Jackiw-Rebbi and Majorana types, as well as non-topological bound states such as Volkov-Pankratov and Andreev states, generated by spatially varying fields. The formation of these bound states can often be understood through emergent supersymmetry (SUSY) in quantum spin-Hall systems and topological superconductors. I am also investigating signatures of chiral Majorana modes in quantum transport across chiral topological insulator–normal superconductor junctions. Additionally, my current research explores synthetic topological phases in multiterminal Josephson junctions using Wilson loop techniques.
