I am interested in studying quantum transport in low dimensional topological insulators and superconductors. My recent work is focused on studying topological zero modes (jackiw-rebbi and majorana type) and non-topological bound states (volkov-pankratov and andreev type) induced by spatially varying fields. The generation of such bound states can be explained by the emergent supersymmetry (susy) in quantum spin-hall systems as well as in topological superconductors. I am also studying signature of chiral majorana modes in the quantum transport across a chiral toplogical insulator-normal superconductor junction Recently, I am motivated to understand the interplay between PT symmetry and supersymmetry.
